Services & Abilities

Drafting:

AutoSPRINK is a standalone Fire Protection software that is utilized by CFP to create shop drawings and installation drawings. These drawings can be exported into AutoCAD to take advantage of the Autodesk software. The AutoSPRINK Software also includes a Hydraulic Calculation program and a Earthquake Bracing Calculator. When projects call for 3D coordination or BIM, Navisworks,AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK is employed to meet the tasks.

2D Coordination:

CFP can coordinate with all participating trades to avoid conflicts. This is based upon utilizing the equipment located on the engineered design Fire Protection drawings and trade drawings supplied by other sub-contractors. CFP can contribute to the 2D overlay in AutoCAD.

3D / BIM Coordination:

CFP will utilize the provided 3D Model to coordinate with the other trades. The final product will be a Clash Free 3D Fire Protection Model that can be utilized for shop drawings. This type of coordination requires a 3D Fire Protection Software (AutoSPRINK), Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD

Coordination Meetings:

CFP will attend coordination meetings for projects that require a final sign off for coordination. This will ensure the system coordinated by CFP has been documented and can be supplied to the Foreman for record during installation if a conflict should arise.

Field Surveys and Walk-through:

CFP can perform Field Surveys to verify the field conditions and the accuracy of the design drawings. A fully dimensioned drawing or sketches will be created on site to aid in the coordination process of the project. CFP can also visit projects on behalf of your company or accompany a representative for a project walk-through.

Shop Drawing Standards:

Each Shop drawing will consist of equipment locations (Sprinkler Heads, Fire Hose Stations ect.), a coordinated pipping route, Elevations, Pipe Sizes and Hydraulic Remote Area and Reference points. These drawings will be provided in a PDF format. The drawing  standards can be altered by your request.

DOB Submittal Drawings:

CFP can create a set of drawings that can be used to file with the City of New York. This effort will require additional information to create. A set of drawings with the relevant notes and details will be provided for filing purposes. A PE Stamp is not included. These drawings will be provided in a PDF format.

Hydraulic Calculations:

If required, set of Hydraulic Calculations will be supplied with for submittal. These Calculations will be provided in a PDF format.

Pump Room Drawings:

If a Pump is required on your project, CFP will create a drawing that will provide Pad Locations, Sections and Details and Elevations. When it is time for installation, an installation detail and list of material will be incorporated into the drawing. These drawings will be provided in a PDF format.

Riser Drawings:

If your project requires a new Riser, CFP will develop a detailed 3D riser drawing for installations that contains Floor Control Valve Assemblies, Hose Stations and other required equipment. These drawing will consist of a Section and Plan view of the Riser.

Foreman's / Installations Drawings:

CFP can provide material lists and Foreman's Prints for the Fabrication and installation of a coordinated and approved system. These drawings will contain List Notes and Tags, Dimensions, Elevations, relevant Details and Sections and Notes. These drawings and Lists will be provided in a PDF format.

Fabrication Lists:

These lists will contain the relevant materials needed to fabricate the Rough-In of a System. Cut-Back material and miscellaneous materials for the field are not automatically included.

Project Management:

Over the years I have participated on a large number of diverse projects from Warehouses, New Highrise Buildings, and Renovated Hotels. I can assist your company by providing Valued Engineering and insight on the planning and staging a project. CFP can assist in identifying and the creation of RFIs.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect installations to ensure specifications and design integrity.

Estimating Assistance:

CFP can assist your Estimating Department with Pick-Offs and a project Walk-through. It is here that a Valued Engineering can also be applied. A Bill of Material and Hydraulic Calculation can be developed if the drawing is imported into the AutoSPRINK. CFP can also assist to identify potential RFIs. CFP will not participate in any pricing or any activity specific to your company, only to convey what is on the drawings.
